How do you calculate shipping cost?
The shipping cost you see at checkout is processed by a sophisticated computer algorithm that figures out how to efficiently pack all the items into the packing box.
The shipping cost itself is calculated based on distance and shipping box dimensional weight (i.e. actual box dimension and total weight), which means that a large light-weighted item may have the same or even higher shipping cost as a small but heavy-weighted item.
Rest assured that we are also an expert packer who packs in the most efficient and safest way possible to minimize shipping cost and to ensure the items arrive undamaged at your destination.
In a case where we are able to pack your items in a cheaper and a safe way (eg. fewer box, cheaper carrier option), we will issue a refund for the shipping cost difference.
Which shipping carriers do you use?
UPS and USPS. If you need us to ship express or use other carriers, please contact us.
How soon will my items arrive?
We normally pack and ship within 1-2 business days after receiving payment. You will then receive an estimated delivery date that depends on the shipping carrier and method. The "Estimated transit time" that you see at checkout page is the time between when the order is shipped and when it is estimated to arrive at destination.
Do you offer free shipping?
Unfortunately no, but we do offer free pickup service at 2 locations:
- Our physical store 159 Rochester Hill Rd, Rochester, NH [map] during business hours.
- Boston drop-off location 24 Denby Rd, Allston, MA [map] -- date and time vary and are announced on the website and social media (instagram: @anekamarket.usa).
What if item(s) in my order are out-of-stock at the time of packing?
We will try to contact you for possible alternative products. Otherwise, we will cancel the item and readjust shipping cost if there is a difference in shipping cost.
I don't see a shipping option at checkout!
Sometime it takes a few seconds for the shipping to be calculated on the checkout page (including Apple Pay checkout). If after waiting you still do not see a shipping option, please contact us and we will look into your order.
My item(s) arrive damaged
Please take a picture of the damaged item(s) and send to us via e-mail (help [at] anekamarket.com) or Whatsapp (see contact us page). Please include your Order# in the message.
