Bean Vermicelli VS Rice Vermicelli

Bean threads and rice vermicelli are two types of thin, edible Asian noodles made from different types of starches. Bean threads, also known as cellophane noodles ("Soun" - Indonesian name), are made from mung bean starch  while rice vermicelli ("Bihun" - Indonesian name) are made from rice flour. Both noodles are often used in many Asian dishes, providing a unique texture and flavor to the meal. They can be boiled, stir-fried, or added to soups and salads.
